Proficiency Certificates

These goFLUENT certificates display the proficiency you have shown during your language training. You can download a summary or full version of the certificate as a PDF.

How to find your Proficiency Certificates

1. Go to the “Analytics” section from any device.

2. Click or tap on “Download Certificate” to pick the summary or full version PDF

3. View the downloaded Proficiency Certificate PDF on your device.

Why don’t I see my Proficiency Certificate?

Your Proficiency Certificate will become available soon after you take the Proficiency Test.

Why do I see more than one Proficiency Certificate?

You will be able to access up to three certificates in a selected time frame:

  • The earliest available Proficiency Certificate
  • The certificate with the highest proficiency level
  • The most recent Proficiency Certificate

You are free to choose which certificate to download from the ones displayed.

What is CEFR?

CEFR is a recognised scale to define different levels of proficiency. It ranges from A1 (beginner) to C2 (mastery) to describe different levels of proficiency with precision.

goFLUENT uses the CEFR standard to accurately understand your proficiency level. CEFR stands for Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Did you know?

If you download the full version of your certificate, you will have descriptions of the overall proficiency competences for all CEFR levels.

What is the proficiency level that is shown on the certificate based on?

The proficiency level on certificates is based on Proficiency Tests you take during your language training.

Additionally, if applicable to you, speaking proficiency during Individual Lessons may also be taken into account by the overall proficiency level shown on your certificate.

Why don’t I see my speaking level?

You might not see your speaking level on your Proficiency Certificate because of the following reasons.

Individual Lessons are not part of your language training: No speaking level will be shown.

Individual Lessons are part of your language training: Your speaking level will appear once it is accurate enough.
